The International
Conference »New Developments in Sheet Metal Forming«
is organised every two years in collaboration with the
Forschungsgesellschaft Umformtechnik mbH Stuttgart (FGU).
About 400 engineers from industry and universities
are expected to attend this conference. During both
days of conference attendees will have the opportunity
to join the dispute regarding the state of the art and
future tendencies in sheet metal forming and to give
their particular impact on future research- and development
activities in this fields.
The panel discussion at the conference second day with
managers and specialists from wellknown companies from
sheet metal forming industry provides the opportunity
to
participants to ask individual questions on the conference
key note “New processes demand innovations –
innovations power processes!”
The presentations will be given in English or German
with simultaneous translation.
On occasion of the guided company tours, during IFU-Welcome
Venue and throughout the conference you will have the
opportunity to meet “good old friends” or
to make new ones. We are looking forward to meeting
